Reviews

This Inn is so beautiful. It was a wonderful getaway for my husband and I. Parking is off street. We stayed in the blue room, which is so pretty with its beautiful blue color scheme and murals of mermaids and sea creatures. Breakfast is absolutely delicious. The owner's homemade yogurt and granola is delicious. Top it off with fruit and you are in heaven. In the evening, you can relax on the porch swing or have some smores out by the fire pit. There is even a hammock out in the beautiful garden. The owner is both sweet and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay there immensely and will be back.
Perfect for a peaceful getaway! Cindy S, TripAdvisor
Mermaid Inn has all the things I hope for in B&B but rarely get. The location is good first off - 5 min walk to the drawbridge and fun downtown area. Parking. Rooms are nice. The breakfast menu is great and food prepared well. The big wrap around porch has a beautiful gazebo looking part to eat it in. There's other nice hangout spots on that porch including a swing seat. And then just lots of little nice attention to detail things. Brownies and popcorn when I was there for arriving guests, keurig coffee machine you can help yourself anytime... you can tell it's a smart, thoughtful owner who still cares and I loved it.
This place is excellent. Curtis S, TripAdvisor
op notch stay with Josephine. She is the most gracious and engaging host. The room was warm, welcoming with a beautiful bathroom. Sitting on the front porch swing was a wonderful way to conclude the evening. Perfect walking distance to downtown shopping and a short walk to the seaport. Morning breakfast on the veranda started the day off right. Don’t miss an opportunity to stay here.
